The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) was established to foster a culture of innovation, creativity and intellectual property protection within the institution. Recognizing the growing importance of intellectual property in research, technology development and entrepreneurship, the IPR Cell serves as a dedicated platform for promoting awareness, facilitating knowledge dissemination and providing guidance in protecting intellectual assets.
The Cell actively supports students, faculty members and researchers in identifying innovative ideas, securing intellectual property rights and transforming research outcomes into valuable intellectual assets with societal and industrial impact.
