Myths and Facts[edit | edit source]
- Not a real disease. CFS is a disease defined just by a group of symptoms. There are no objective abnormalities.[3][4]
- The 'all in the mind' myth of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome / ME/CFS is not real – or “all in your head.” / Somatization myth / ME/CFS is caused by Depression/Anxiety[5][6][4][3][3]
- People with CFS who think they are suffering from a physical illness have a worse prognosis, which just goes to show that it is their perception of a physical cause for their illness that is keeping them from functioning normally.[4]
- Whenever one research group finds a biological abnormality in patients with CFS, another research group can't find it.[4]
- CFS only affects white and higher income individuals, and is a relatively rare disorder.[4]
- Cognitive behavior therapy interventions can cure CFS.[4]
- Patients with CFS are either lazy or malingering.[4]
- All cases of CFS are caused by the Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV).[4]
- Patients with CFS can be cured by exercise. [4][5]
- Difficult to diagnose [5]
- You don’t look sick…[5]
- There is no blood test[5]

Lua yyyy-mm dates[edit | edit source]
Match hyphen, n-dash or slash, yyyy then mm or yyyy then m (? is optional character)
= string.match("foo 123 bar", '%d%d%d%d[/–‐]%d?%d') <pre> Each capture is returned as a separate result, so this is useful for splitting out values <pre >date = "04/64" m, y = string.match(date, "(%d+)/(%d+)")
so...
date = "2011/04" y, m= string.match(date, "(%d%d%d%d)/(%d?%d)")
then
date = "2011/04" y, m= string.match(date, "(%d%d%d%d)[/–‐](%d?%d)")
restricting dates to years 1000-2000, months 01 to 19.
date = "2011/04" y, m= string.match(date, "([12][12]%d%d)[/–‐]([01]?%d)")
then convert to MMM with monthname(m)
and then concat with ', '
m = "04" y = "2016"
newdate = m .. ', ' .. y

Priorities[edit | edit source]
- Image copyrights to organize - Special:UncategorizedFiles
- Check copyrights on ICC and other files
- Better symptom photos e.g. malaise, levels of fatigue and disability, symptoms
- Infographics template - XMP CC info, large size, site name only in corner (font as wiki?)
- Infographic & poster creation
- large skin option?
Brain fog tasks[edit | edit source]
