Effective and last updated: August 1, 2026

In these terms, “Melies,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean YUKI CAPITAL. “You” means the person or entity using the service.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account, buying a plan or credits, or using Melies, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use Melies for an organization, you confirm that you can bind it.
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login details, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from a security failure attributable to Melies.
3. The service and AI limitations
Melies provides filmmaking tools for developing ideas, scripts, characters, images, video, audio, storyboards, edits, and exports.
AI systems are probabilistic. They may produce inaccurate, inconsistent, offensive, incomplete, or unexpected material.
We do not promise that an output will be unique, protectable by intellectual-property law, or suitable for a particular purpose.
You must review outputs before publication or commercial use. Do not rely on Melies for legal, medical, safety-critical, or other professional advice.
Features, models, formats, limits, and generation times may change as providers and the product evolve.
4. Your content and generated output
4.1 Your inputs
You keep your rights in prompts, scripts, uploads, likenesses, voices, reference files, and other material you provide (“Customer Content”).
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit Customer Content and to request its processing.
You grant us a limited licence to host, copy, adapt, transmit, and process Customer Content only to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
This licence also lets us send the necessary material to the AI or infrastructure providers selected for your request.
We will not use private Customer Content in Melies marketing or to train models developed by YUKI CAPITAL without your separate permission.
4.2 Generated output
As between you and YUKI CAPITAL, we do not claim ownership of output generated for you.
To the extent we hold any rights in that output, we assign those rights to you after the related fees or credits have been paid.
Your right to use an output remains subject to applicable law, third-party rights, the selected plan, and any model-specific restrictions shown to you.
AI outputs may resemble material created for others. We cannot grant exclusivity or guarantee that an output does not infringe third-party rights.
Commercial use is available only where the applicable plan and model permit it. You remain responsible for clearance, attribution, and release requirements.
Assets from Melies libraries may have separate licence limits. You may use them in permitted projects, but may not resell or redistribute source assets alone.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Melies to create, upload, request, distribute, or facilitate content or conduct that:
- breaks the law, infringes rights, or violates a court or regulatory order;
- sexually exploits or endangers a child, or depicts sexual content involving a minor;
- uses a real person’s face, voice, or identity without the rights or consent required by law;
- deceives people about a material fact through harmful impersonation, fraud, or undisclosed manipulation;
- promotes violence, terrorism, hatred, harassment, self-harm, or illegal goods or services;
- contains malware, attempts unauthorized access, or disrupts the service or another user;
- scrapes, reverse engineers, bypasses limits, or accesses Melies through unauthorized automation;
- tests or extracts model data in a way that compromises security, privacy, or third-party rights.
Documentary, artistic, educational, or satirical context does not remove your duty to follow the law and protect people from foreseeable harm.
We may use automated and human review to enforce these rules. You may contact us if you believe a restriction was applied incorrectly.
6. Third-party services and models
Melies connects to external providers for AI generation, hosting, authentication, payment, email, analytics, and error monitoring.
Your request may be processed by a provider such as fal.ai, Replicate, OpenAI, Anthropic, Runway, or ElevenLabs.
The provider used depends on the tool and model you choose. Provider availability, safety filters, licences, and data practices can differ.
We remain responsible for our own legal obligations. We do not control a provider’s models or guarantee that a provider will remain available.
Our Privacy Policy explains the provider categories and data transfers.
7. Plans, credits, and billing
Current prices, included features, licence scope, credit allowances, taxes, currency, and billing period are shown before purchase.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period until cancelled. Stripe processes payments; Melies does not store full card details.
Subscription credits refresh on each monthly credit cycle and do not roll over. Extra credits bought separately do not expire while the account remains active.
Credits are a limited right to use Melies features. They are not money, cannot be transferred, and have no cash value outside the service.
A generation can cost different amounts based on model, duration, resolution, quality, or other settings. The applicable cost is shown in the product.
If a generation is confirmed as failed without usable output, Melies normally restores the related credits. Contact support if the restoration does not occur.
You authorize us to charge the selected payment method. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless the checkout states that they are included.
We may change future prices or plan features. We will give reasonable advance notice when a change affects an existing paid subscription.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a subscription through your account billing settings. You can also contact [email protected].
Cancellation stops the next renewal. Unless the law requires otherwise, paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Closing an account ends access to projects, outputs, unused subscription credits, and unused extra credits. Export anything you need first.
Except for statutory rights, we do not automatically refund a used billing period, consumed credits, or delivered output.
We review duplicate charges, billing errors, unavailable paid services, and other exceptional cases. This section does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
9. EU consumer withdrawal right
If you are an EU or EEA consumer, you generally have 14 days after a distance subscription contract is made to withdraw without giving a reason.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to [email protected] or use the model form below before the period ends.
If you ask us to begin the service during that period, the law may require payment proportionate to the service already supplied.
You lose a withdrawal right only where all legal conditions are met, including any express request, prior consent, and acknowledgement required by law.
Eligible refunds are issued within the legal deadline, normally to the original payment method. Mandatory local rights remain unaffected.

10. French consumer legal guarantee of conformity
YUKI CAPITAL is responsible for the statutory conformity guarantee for paid digital content and services supplied to French consumers.
Address: 305 chemin de Vallauris, 06160 Antibes, France. Email: [email protected].
For a digital service supplied continuously, the guarantee applies throughout the contractual supply period.
For digital content or a service supplied once, the statutory period applicable to that supply applies.
You may require us to bring a non-conforming service into conformity without charge, undue delay, or significant inconvenience.
Where the legal conditions are met, you may obtain a price reduction or end the contract. These remedies do not affect a claim for damages.
We provide updates needed to maintain conformity for the period required by law.
This legal guarantee applies independently of any optional commercial guarantee and independently of the withdrawal right.
Nothing in these terms reduces the rights provided by Articles L.224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, non-payment, illegality, or a serious breach of these terms.
Where appropriate, we will give notice and a chance to fix the issue. We may act immediately when delay could cause harm or breach the law.
You may request account deletion in the product. Some data may remain where needed for billing, security, backups, legal duties, or legal claims.
Sections that by nature should continue after termination remain effective, including rights, payment, liability, and dispute provisions.
12. Melies intellectual property
Melies and its software, interface, branding, documentation, templates, and original site content belong to YUKI CAPITAL or its licensors.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service while your account is authorized.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or exploit Melies itself except where these terms or mandatory law expressly allow it.
If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without payment or attribution. This does not give us rights in your private Customer Content.
13. Disclaimers
Melies is provided on an “as available” basis. We use reasonable care but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available operation.
We do not warrant the accuracy, originality, legality, continuity, or fitness of AI output. You are responsible for review and lawful use.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
14. Liability
Nothing limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that law does not permit us to limit.
For consumers, we are liable as required by mandatory law for foreseeable loss caused by our breach. Your mandatory consumer remedies remain intact.
For business users, neither party is liable for indirect loss or lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or opportunities, except where law forbids that limit.
For business users, our total liability in a 12-month period is limited to the amount paid to Melies in that period, unless mandatory law requires more.
A business user will indemnify YUKI CAPITAL against third-party claims caused by its unlawful Customer Content or material breach of these terms.
15. Changes to the service or terms
We may update the service and these terms for legal, security, technical, provider, or business reasons.
We will give reasonable advance notice of a material change that adversely affects an existing paid subscription.
If you do not agree, you may stop using Melies and cancel before the change takes effect. Changes do not remove rights already accrued.
16. Governing law and disputes
French law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you habitually live.
Contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve a complaint.
An eligible consumer may use any consumer mediation or alternative dispute process made available under applicable law after a written complaint.
Consumers may bring a claim in any court that mandatory law permits. Business disputes fall under the competent courts of Antibes, France.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
