C'est vraisemblable puisqu'on y retrouve ces échos de chants percutants les parois labyrithiques de la crypte et l'orgue sévère. Cependant, il s'éloigne du single en même temps car, ici, il y a de la vie. Les chœurs sont plus variés et des textures cybernétiques viennent se greffer au dark ambiant monacal comme si c'était prévu par le destin. La civilisation dépeinte par Monasterium Imperi évolue, un pied dans le futur. Favorite track: Dux Praefectus Gloria.

The Empyrean Liturgy is consisted of ten grand monastic chants and church organ symphonies, creating a monolith of priestly voices that stretch to the farthest of the stars. The Dominion of Man has strayed, and a benevolent hand of Dignity and Righteousness has been raised to mark the new era. The liturgy is encompassing all sentient beings, including those of the future Machine-born, encouraging all to follow the road of Enlightenment and spiritual Liberation.

This album is partially and indirectly inspired by the fascinating Warhammer 40,000 universe and lore, mainly drawing upon a pseudo-utopistic tendencies of a theocratic technocracy, which (un)successfully merges spirituality with industry. Above all, this is a personal take from Scorpio V's own 'fictional' universe of Edenium, which is a meta-landscape thorugh which he projects his own philosophies, musings and creative visions.
