Privacy Policy

Last updated: Jul 22, 2026

1. Introduction

Moda ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website moda.app.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways, including:

  • Personal Data: Name, email address, and other contact information you provide

  • Usage Data: Information about your device, browser, IP address, and how you interact with our services

  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies to enhance your experience

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our services

  • Improve, personalize, and expand our services

  • Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support

  • Process transactions and send related information

  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With your consent

  • To comply with legal obligations

  • To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property

  • With service providers who assist in operating our services

5. Google User Data (Workspace APIs)

Moda offers optional integrations with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. If you choose to connect your Google account, we access only the data needed to provide features you explicitly request:

  • Files you explicitly select, link, or ask Moda to read, and files Moda creates on your behalf (for example, a design exported to Google Slides)

  • Basic profile information (name and email address) to identify your connected account

We use this data solely to provide the user-facing feature you requested — for example, reading a document you provided as design context, or exporting your design to your Google Drive. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Limited Use.Moda's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

AI/ML processing. Some Moda features are powered by third-party large language model providers (Anthropic and OpenAI), accessed through their commercial APIs. Content from your connected Google files is shared with these providers only as needed to fulfill a request you make. Under the API terms we operate under, these providers do not train their models on this data. We do not use, transfer, or sell Google user data — raw, aggregated, or derived — to create, train, or improve machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models.

Retention and revocation.Content imported from Google is retained only as part of your workspace and is deleted when you delete it or your account. You can disconnect your Google account from Moda's settings at any time, and revoke Moda's access via your Google account permissions.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access to your personal information

  • Correction of inaccurate data

  • Deletion of your data

  • Data portability

  • Objection to certain processing
