I struck down the ranger before unleashing an empowered fireball on the camp. Pity nobody here recognized true power when they saw it. Ah well. I checked my companion and sure enough, she was dead; eyes glazed over and mouth parted slightly - no need to waste a potion on her. And speaking of waste, what a shame to let that gorgeous elven body rot without anyone enjoying it.... A lot of treasure came out of the cave that day, but the best was her miniaturized body in my bag of holding 😌

Well in my fantasy she was smart enough at least to take an arcanist with her, although being a human I wasn't deemed much use in her haughty elven eyes. We made our way to the bandits' cave easy enough, but upon seeing their modest attire and equipment she decided she could take them before I had time to cast a single spell. I barely had time to shout "Wait!" before their ranger scout let loose upon her. She was dead before the other villains were even aware of our intrusion.

@ElaineEV A good placement for the last arrow would be the throat. That way she could gag and choke on blood.
It wouldn't change the inevitable outcome or even quicken her demise, but would be fun to add further insult and injury to her hopeless situation..

The realization is slowly sinking in.. Unable to breathe or scream, the only option left is to wait for the inevitable Death she will face in moments.
The agonizing pain has not taken hold yet, she may fade before the pain and panic ruin her final seconds.
If she falls forward, I wonder if the arrows will push through her back?

If I was there watching, she would get at least one more arrow 💘.

@Graveknight does the party try to resurrect her or just leave her cooling body behind and pick up a new companion with more sense (and coverage)? or was she that rare stupid adventurer who thought she could go into a dungeon solo and she is all alone?
