@W0lfgang Yes. The shock strength was adjustable. Just being stripped, tied down and having the electrode inserted was degrading and frightening. The shock intensity was adjustable, so at low levels it was bearable. At higher levels it was excruciating.

@W0lfgang It's kinda half realistic. One wire wouldn't give electric shocks. In real life the electric wiring needs to make a circuit through or across the body. That could be two prongs on a single device, like a cattle prod or taser, or two separate wires touching different places on the body. Or with the prisoner laid on a metal table or bed frame with one wire attached to that and the other touching the body.
