So, there's this series of pics where they show a girl clothed, then show her naked from different angles (front, left, right, back), and then two more (closer) front and back pics. I gotta wonder, how come up with this idea? It's kind weird really cause the girls aren't really posed to be erotic looking, seems more like a "security footage" or motion capture photos or something.

Guess I'm just curious who took them and what the thought process was behind them...

they're used for 3d modeling and uv textures.

They kind of remind me of the Ivy League Nude Photographs - from the 50s to the 70s, every incoming freshman at Ivy League colleges were requried to pose nude for photographs, exactly like this. They were told it was "for your posture", but it was actually some nutty psychologist who was conducting research to support his theory that body type affects your personality and success. Because of this, a whole generation of very prominent Americans had nude photos taken of them when they were around 18 years old. Supposedly, most of the photos have been destroyed, but every few years someone finds a huge cache of them. It was something they all had to do, none of them questioned it, but none of them wanted to do it, either, it was just a school requirement...
