Not sure ... a long time, maybe 45-minutes. I've found that if i keep my cock iced, they're usually in no hurry to leave. As for "fat" ones ... I've never had much success with them. Canadian Nightcrawlers look exciting, but they're absolutely uncooperative. On the other hand, I've found that the smaller European Nichtcrawlers are usually willing to jump right in with very little coaxing ... much more fun.

@Mortevicar - I saw one vid where the guy was injecting ice water just prior to introducing the worm to his slit. So I got a syringe and small catheter from Amzn.com and tried that. It worked really good (100%) with the smaller worms, like European Nightcrawlers.

What's the best worm? I'm new to this. So far, I've tried some little red worms from the compost pile, Canadian Nghtcrwlrs, and European Nghtcrwlrs. The little red worms seemed eager to jump right in. Conversely, I haven't had much luck with the Canadian Nghtcrwlrs, which will fight for an hour or so while absolutely refusing to cooperate. The smaller European Nightcrwlrs have been the best. If I inject some ice water, they don't take much coaxing, and some and some seem very playful.

Comments tend to suggest that you're a very lucky guy who just "has the touch". As a newbie without much success yet, say it isn't so. Tell me that the successes were actually few and far between for you too, but the eventual rewards are well worth the wait. I sure wish I would have encountered this years ago. But it's on my "Bucket List" and I'm not gonna' die until I accomplish it. Your videos are a big encouragement ... thanks. :-)
