FAQ

There's no free tier — every plan is paid, starting at $27/month. What you get instead is a 24-hour money-back window: subscribe, put it through real work, and if it isn't right for you we'll refund you in full. You can also see what the platform produces before paying — the demo gallery has complete projects made on M Studio, start to finish.
A clip runs up to 15 seconds; in practice most come out around 11. So Starter's 165 clips/month is roughly 30-41 minutes of finished film, Professional's 660 is roughly 121-165 minutes, and Studio's 2,200 is roughly 403-550 minutes. A clip is one generated shot — re-generating a shot you didn't like counts as another clip.
No, and this is the part worth knowing: storyboard frames and film clips are counted separately. You can write, re-shoot and revise the whole board as many times as you like without touching your clip allowance. Nothing is spent until you generate motion.
Your plan is a flat monthly price with a set allowance — not a credit meter that drains as you work. Wallet credits are optional and separate: if you finish your monthly allowance and want to keep going, you can top up. You're never charged for one without choosing it, and unused allowance doesn't roll over.
There's no cap on project length — films are built shot by shot, so length is limited by how many clips your plan includes rather than by the editor. Long-form and episodic work is what Studio is sized for. If you're planning something feature-length or a full series, talk to us first and we'll tell you honestly what it will take.
Yes. You own the content you generate and you can use it commercially, including monetised YouTube, client work and ads. See our Terms for the full wording.
You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. For a refund, you're covered for 24 hours from purchase — email [email protected] or start a chat and we'll sort it out. You don't need Discord for this.
