Anon seems to have some emotional baggage. But as someone who was around toward the start of the “photographers on tumblr” tag, I’d say they’re also just wrong and wronger. The point was to make it easy to find original photos and photographers, period. It wasn’t intended as special club, a seal of “realness,” or any other dumbness along those lines. Tag on, content generating types.

oh good! just saw the first reply and was - panicking - as I have been using tumblr itself to host the audio file. Audio on this site has had a history of glitchiness and getting people’s accounts deleted (for posting audio that is that got “DMCA attention”). Seems like the last part not happening much lately though…
