The science of reading has changed the way we teach children how to read in the classroom. In order for this to be most successful, we need the support of parents and caregivers. Most want to help, they just may not know how. In this post, I share FREE handouts, editable parent letters, and suggest videos that provide caregivers with information about the science of reading, help them understand how children learn to read, and suggest how they can help their children at home.
