It would be a mistake to ignore Wentworth Woodhouse… One of the grandest houses of the Georgian age, unfortunately came to a sorry state but has since been saved and is thankfully undergoing phases of regeneration around the estate. Having recently restored the Camellia House to its former glory, the trust now work on the stables and continue to conserve the house where necessary. Wentworth Woodhouse has also just launched a new range of tours for all kinds of heritage enthusiasts.
