It involves making 3 pots of your base glaze recipe, each with a different colourant in them. You then mix together the coloured glazes in prescribed proportions. The outside rows of the triangle of test pots mixes two of each colourant together in various ratios and the inner pots contain a mix of all 3, again in varying proportions. I stick to using glazes that I know interact well and that I've fired to the same temperature with success. This helps limit the chance of pinholes and other imperfections. Once fired, these plates will hopefully be a nice mix of blues and whites. . . . #handmadepottery #glazingpottery #potteryglazing #potteryinspiration #potterylove #lovepottery #ceramics #ceramica #ceramicstudio #handmadeceramics" Slip Glazing Pottery, Piping Slip Ceramics, Mixing Glazes Ceramics, Sponge Glaze Ceramics, Using Tape To Glaze Pottery, Splatter Glaze Pottery, Marble Glaze Pottery, Drip Glaze Pottery, Marbled Clay Pottery
