Here’s why
*No pose panic. If you tend to freeze when someone yells “cheese” this is a great way for you to bring movement, your personality, and POV into your content.

*Faceless Isn’t For You: Research shows reels with your face in the first 3 seconds perform better! Aim for at least 75% of your footage showing you. ✨

* Forget perfect: Editing apps and stock video are hugely helpful but if you are new at this they can create more pressure to have the “perfect” visuals - 🙌and since you’re still finding your aesthetic, my genius tip below helps you do just that!🙌

Here are some quick tips to 5x your library of stock footage.

🎥 Film yourself at a distance so you can easily add text above your head and have the ability to add bullet points to either side of your body.

🎥 Film yourself closer so you can add text overhead or in the middle of your screen.

🎥 Film up close so you can add simple text to your video.

🎥 Film over your shoulder.

🎥 Don’t forget to film TRANSITIONS! Cover the camera with your prop [like my laptop] or your hand and then move into position.

Oh, and here are some more of my fav tips for amazing b-roll.

📸 Add movement to your videos by typing on your computer, drinking coffee/water, or moving across the screen.
