Bully beans activities

This is an activity extension of Bully Beans by Julia Cook. After the read aloud students answer discussion questions. Then they think about the thinks people say or do that make them feel like they are twisted up like a pretzel on the inside. This will help them identify big problems and bullying situations. This fits perfectly with most Character Education Programs, Conflict Resolution Programs, and Bully Prevention Programs.

In second grade we read Bully Beans by Julia Cook. This is a favorite of my students because of it's strong message about standing up for yourself...and obviously getting to have jelly beans as a treat!
