Hi, I'm finally getting close to the end of the christmas cards I need to make! I've used these Memory Box dies a lot in the last couple of years, I just change the colours and the layout. The bauble base was coloured using distress inks, then sprayed with perfect Pearls. Every bauble looks a bit different as the colours dilute with the mist. Today's card is for two challenges. The colours in the CTD final challenge for the year are too pretty to not play with, don't you think? Then when I saw the sketch, an idea came to mind and ... well ... you know how that goes, lol. Here's my card: I cut the baubles from coloured cardstock then stencilled with glittery texture paste, adding touches of paint once it was dry. Easy to make but takes a long time to cut out all the pieces...great card for using up lots of scraps of paper for those of us who can't seem to throw anything away! I embossed the greeting right on the kraft piece. This is an A2 sized card. Edit: I used the Spellbinders Holiday Flower & Greenery and the Ornament Frame dies.

I think this is pretty clever & unique; it's a 'faux' Christmas ornament on a card. And it's quick & easy too! It looks so real; like you could lift it off!
