Briana Bosch on Instagram: "This didn’t turn out quite like I planned in my head but I love it still!  Not only is this indoor fall “tree” 100% compostable, it was much cheaper than buying faux plastic leaves! Here’s how I made it:

🍂 foraged a fallen branch and some fall-colored leaves (scroll down for a tip on that!)
🍁 melted beeswax over a double boiler to a high temp (it’s important for the wax to get hot enough or the beeswax coat will be too heavy on the leaves)
🍃 dipped the leaves in quickly, gently shaking off excess drips 
🍂 used twine to attach the leaves to the branch tips

This will last at least a full season if not more, and can be composted at end of life!
