One of my favorite Islay whiskys

Laphroaig is one of the benchmarks for Islay whisky, and is the whisky perhaps most commonly associated with the island. This 10-year-old expression combines the distinctive flavour of the distillery's 10-year whisky with carefully selected Oloroso sherry casks to bring a unique complexity to the maturation process. The nose is Manuka honey (one of the finest varieties in the world, FYI), grilled bacon (yes please) and maple syrup.
