I sadly heard of the passing of one of our parents of our friend, so made a sympathy card to pop in the post first thing tomorrow. I started this card by stamping the Lavinia Stamps "Fairy Thistle" in Versafine Clair "Monarch" purple ink. I then coated the stamping in Wow! Clear Embossing Powder and heat set. Over the top of the card, I lay the Lavinia "Feather Leaf" stencil, applying "Shadow Grey" Archival Ink through the stencil, fading the ink out across the card. I stamped the sentiment…

Lavinia Stamps have released nine new stamps, so this morning I was stalking Postie. Fortunately they arrived late morning, so I have had a chance to play with a couple making this card. It features "Fip" the fairy and "Gip" the branch. I used a Lavinia sentiment called "Fairy Merry Christmas" too. I've stamped in Versafine Clair inks and created the background using Distress Oxide Inks. I've also used Gelly Roll Pens, Posca Pens and colouring pencils too.

Used a scenescape for the background. Where you can stamp on it, blend on it. Use Brusho's on and pens. #laviniastamps

I'm still playing with my new Lavinia Stamps, this time I used three of the stamps I've not already used. Starting with a background from my stash, I had fortunately written down on the back of it what I had used. In this case, it was a selection of Elements Inks on a gel plate. These are the colours I used: Confetti, Violet Chalk, Bermuda, Della Blue and Blue Lagoon. I started the by stamping "Starr" and the "Wild Pine" in Versafine Clair "Medieval Blue" ink. Next, I used a Lavinia "Moon…
