from wax to metal 🕯️ crafted from recycled sterling silver using the ancient lost wax casting process, each piece starts from a block of wax that i carve, melt and engrave before sending it off to get cast into metal. all of these one off beauties are still available & looking for their forever homes!

Description Using a round burr I have made just a few simple cuts to map out the face and start determining the placement of the eye sockets cheek bones and upper jaw. These are still very rough cuts and all of the elements are still larger than they need to be, I won't start getting into any details until I have a very pleasing rough shape.
