We were lucky enough that when we looked around the house that the owners before had kept the original 1930s doors to the house and looked after them. One of the main reasons we fell in love with the property. I know lots of people aren’t lucky as this with their 1930s properties are looking to update their existing doors so I hope this helps… if you go to antique markets or reclaimers yards, you may be lucky enough to pick up the odd door, but also you can use the faithful @ebay_uk to find some of these beauties, which just need a bit of TLC.
