I read this manga after reading Mousou Telepathy, a manga made by the same author, which I rated that manga 9/10. Because of that, I had vey high expectation for this one.
Art: 8/10
The art style is cartoonish, and the paneling doesn’t follow the modern conventions we usually see in manga. While it isn’t flashy or detailed, it fits the atmosphere of the story and, most importantly, it’s never confusing.
Characters: 4/10
The main focus is the romance between a newly arrived exchange student, an alien who only speaks her alien language, and the former student council president tasked with taking care of her. Honestly, I don’t like
...
either of them compared to the other characters. The alien girl is inconsistent and annoying, while the guy is just a jerk. Being “tsundere” or “cute” doesn’t make them redeemable. The other characters range from boring to downright creepy.
Story: 5/10
I’m not even going to bother talking about the story because it’s just a generic school romance. I guess I can say that the comedy is non-existent, and the best storyline actually comes from the side characters.
Conclusion:
Honestly, I find this manga boring but that doesn't mean it's unreadable. I would still recommend it to people who just want a simple, short romance story. but I would also tell them that there are so many slice of life that you can watch and read that is far more better than this manga.
Like Mousou Telepathy made by the same author as this manga, which have the same and refined art style, also a stronger slice of life narrative, a better romance and comedy, and lastly an even better and interesting characters.
