A gentle slice of life fantasy story with Nonomiya as the main character, a Japanese art student comes to eastern Europe to study art where she lives in a cottage nearby a forest, and there begins the story.
Our adorable dragon living with Nono is a sweet soul, he is new to life and is learning how to live, which is a bit troublesome for Nono at times but she is understanding of it, the dragon also makes Nono realize many a things about her life.
You get glimpses of characters' lives in sidelines, it is heartwarming.. but ofcourse the main storyline revolves and remains focused on
...
the dragon and Nono, and how Nono learns and understands the mysteries of the dragon.
It also slightly delved into the politics of east Europe but it was nothing too consequential.
My only critique for this manga would be that, at times, you might find it a bit frustrating at times to read it because of other character's behavior, but the story does reveal later as to why the character did what they did, but despite that, it is a bit frustrating and sometimes I found it a bit dumb too, but this is what generally happens in short mangas..
Overall, a recommended read for readers looking for a gentle slice of life fantasy setting with lots of domesticity and slight adventure. It was a short yet enjoyable read. Also I quite liked the art, especially the manga cover ones.
