This Book is completed with 9 volumes and 1432 chapters (including bonus chapters)

Lord of the Mysteries starts off seeming like a typical story of a man who is suddenly transported to another world but quickly becomes a masterpiece of worldbuilding with a unique power system and tons of interesting lore.

But that's not what kept me reading this story. The best part is in my opinion the characters, Cuttlefish excels at making recognizable characters who all are very entering while having a lot of depth. That's all I can say without spoiling the series and I think it's best to go in as blind as possible.

The Lord of the Mysteries is one thing above all else: it is incredibly wordy, nearly 3 million words in total (among the longest written series in the world, several times longer than TLotR, Chronicles of Narnia, HP, etc. etc. etc. all the way up there with The Wheel of Time and Discworld. By comparison an ordinary novel is ~100-thousand words). Unfortunately it is neither a good translation of those words, nor do those words effectively convey ideas anywhere near as interesting as a shilling might have you believe. (These doorstoppers are freely available and even then you couldn't pay me to keep reading this ... vacuous lump of diction)

Mere observation of the monument to inefficiency that is the unwieldy prose of this series makes any praise of it as 'well-written' laughable to any who value their time. Thus the main audience of doorstoppers like this is made manifest, indeed it is no surprise those who enjoy explicitly quantity-over-quality wordcount-pumping filler like The Wandering Inn are the very same championing these excreted words as "10/10", for who else could bear to read it? (these people will casually tell you you have to read through the equivalent of several ordinary novels worth of this slog before you get through the mere introduction, the mere fraction of one piece of the plot of a single actual ordinary book, to even reach where it allegedly might get good)

Very little of anything presented is not just unoriginal cliches and slop repurposed from elsewhere: Bloodborne, SCP, every cultivation/isekai story, etc.

Every 'mystery' is resolved through immediate contrivance of the answer just falling into his lap or simply having him literally divine the answer because an explicit in-world excuse to avoid actually engaging in any mystery-solving is much less work for the author. Even the entire 'plot' narrative is literally just an explicit excuse for the author to do random bs because no matter what happens it is 'all according to keikaku' of The Lord of All Contrivances.

Fortunately I derive great schadenfreude from forcing people to listen to this 'book' with text-to-speech, eyes forced open to read along. (this is a reference to A Clockwork Orange which someone who wasted their entire life reading millions upon millions of words of slop literature may notn't likely've had time to encounter. Naturally this spoonfeeding exposition is a necessary high-point of TLLM to any who would enjoy it.)

5/10, would use as a doorstopper again. I'd recommend this to people desperate for words to avoid the silence of having to listen to their own thoughts for fear of any actual insight. While I personally get nothing from this type of text, I can understand that there will be plenty of people who enjoy such things that make no attempt to challenge them intellectually for fear of saying anything of substance that might require even further censorship than this book already has endured by self-debasing political entities. It's probably quite good if you've never known better and are unfamiliar with standards from any literature outside such mass-produced light novels. It's surely among the best of them once the sunk-cost Stockholm syndrome sets in.
