Synopsis

No one wrote a review for the manga here? Hmmm...odd.

Well, I'll write a short one, as I feel like everyone should have some idea of what they're walking into here. This is the first review I've ever written on MAL, so please bear with me.

Chaika the Coffin Princess is a fantastical story of a lackadaisical young man (Tooru) who has no skills beyond his military training as a saboteur. If I take a liking to a particular series, I try and collect all material regarding it. With Hitsugi no Chaika, I picked up the five manga volumes after watching season one of the anime. I'm particularly fond of Chaika as a character and it was her that carried the series for me. That said, the manga is enjoyable, however, it does not go as far as the anime does. In only five volumes, it is quite short but if you, like me, enjoyed the anime, then picking up the manga is recommended for fans of the series. Little excerpts here, some neat artwork there, ...
