Well I dropped it but if I had to guess I'd say because the motions of the characters were fast (not necessarily smooth if you ask me) and their expresions were, well, expressive, for a CG anime. Also the girls aren't exactly moe. But that's as far as I can guess.

There is a big role switch for the characters, I'd say. The plot never becomes that good in my opinion, but the character writing is solid. The anime is not that well directed and kinda sped up, so I think the manga is a bit better, but even then both are just ok in my opinion, because the plot is just not that good.

Pretty good taste, but why tf is your avg. score a 3 in both anime and manga categories? Are you a masochist that loves watching anime you hate?

Honestly, the reviews that I made were from the time when I didn't have much experience in the form of informative writing. I definitely find these pieces now quite egocentric and lacking in the perspective of what a review is supposed to do, delivering to a person who's never seen the show before. If I were to be in the position of writing a review now, I would probably avoid making such blatant mistakes and forgetting that I'm writing this for others and not for myself! I think I even picked up on the idea of writing "this is my first review" because of some other reviews I had seen in the past, and somehow got the implication that I should be doing the same as to "not disappoint readers", ironic by itself.

Writing these was more of a fleeting hobby of mine though, and the review on "Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san" ended up being my last three years ago. I'm not thinking of picking it back up anytime soon as I've got other things to spend my time on, so it might even be a better option to remove these altogether as to not waste anyone's time. Keep up the good work for the community :)
