What can I say about me? My personality is known as INFJ. If I had to compare myself with an anime character, I would say I'm very similar to Deku; having things shaken your life but still pushing forward, looking up on everyone until realizing your own true power, strong beliefs, strong will and perseverance, kind of fluffy personality.
I'm just a girl who is passionate about anime and manga. Always looking forward to discover new ones and get to know people who love them like me :) If you have any recommendation just leave a comment or a pm, any genre is fine as long as the story is engaging! Feel free to send me a friend request or just a message to talk. I don't bite...much.
{#}Every Story Has A Past That You Should Know.
I practically grew up watching anime. When I was a kid, I used to watch shows such as Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh but my ultimate favorite was Pokemon. At that time I didn't know those were anime and even less that they were produced in Japan. I just knew that they made my childhood way more interesting
After that, there was this 'memory loss' period were I suddenly stopped watching anime but knew what it was and it's origin. I don't know why this happened, maybe it just didn't seem so 'appealing' to me or it was my extremely narrow knowledge about it (yup, anime = Pokemon, Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh) And I couldn't be more wrong!
It was not until the beginning of 2013 that I ended up 'rediscovering' anime thanks to Wolf's Rain. Waaay to get back on track (Gore, Psychological, +17) I should have had investigated the genre before xD wouldn't recommend it for beginners. And since that moment a whole new world opened within my eyes.

I am glad to hear you are doing great as well. What have you been doing? I hope the final months of the year are treating you well.
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Natsu call Zeref Nii-chan when they met in the afterlife? Like, isn't that almost the most caring way to call an older brother in Japanese? I feel Natsu would have embraced Zeref as family way sooner if he knew they were brothers.
Me too! I know it is a bit cliché, but I do enjoy the enemies-to-friends trope; it is one of my favorites. I get that too many anime series overused it across the years, but when used properly and with moderation, it can be so good.
I haven't watched the live-action adaptation of Avatar yet; I want to watch it as I have heard it is amazing, and a huge improvement from the movie. Have you watched The Legend of Korra? I feel the fandom hates it way too much. The upcoming new series will air in 2027, the Avatar is already decided, and it seems Korra will receive more hate.
Yeah, his magic is so unique; I know Hiro Mashima has received criticism in the past and present, but aside from the amazing art style and great storylines, I highlight how great the magic he designs are. Jella's magic was so powerful, not to mention how incredible and almost unbeatable the ones from the Spriggan 12 were.
Oh yeah, the fight between Natsu and Gajeel against Sting and Rogue was amazing, I liked it so much when Natsu wrote Come on with fire. I do wish the story between Gajeel and Rogue had been explored or at least alluded to before; it was a bit weird how they actually knew each other. Sting being such a huge fan of Natsu was cute.
Exactly, with how strong she was, stated to be on par with Erza, she should have been part of the main team. I wish there were more episodes with her confrontational personality, she looked like a punk-ghotic troublemaker, and I loved it hahaha. I also like her relationship with her siblings; they all care so much for each other. That episode, when she felt like an outcast and tried to leave the guild until Elfman and Lisanna showed their own Take Over magics, was so funny and sweet.
I know! I read that it was, apparently, because at the time the Tsundere archetype was popular, they changed Sakura's personality to it, which sucked because the studio was at fault for making her dislikeable. They made some good decisions with some fillers in the anime, but changing Sakura was stupid. They turned her from a serious ninja into a boy-crazy girl who thought Sasuke was even stronger than their teacher.
Hahaha, exactly, that song is better known than national anthems. Shinsou wo Sasageyo is one of the best opening songs ever, and the opening song visuals suited the song so perfectly; Shingeki no Kyojin left us great hits with its soundtrack.
I finished watching the story with the final season, part 3. Hange Zoe deserved way more. I haven't watched the movie, though. I wanted to stay away from the fandom as much as possible.
Exactly! Does killing characters hurt? Absolutely. Does it increase the seriousness of the story? Completely. There is no arguing in that, it is way better and with more shock value than killing characters just to revive them every two episodes or making them survive beheading and more. Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Akame ga Kill, and Iron Blooded Orphans are examples of killing characters in meaningful ways.
Hahaha, yeah, I came to know that about Genshin Impact only in the past few months; like, I swear, I really thought it was a collecting game until I was told it was almost a Zelda.
Didn't know it had a game inside where you could play TCG, which is quite a fun fact indeed.
I really wanted to watch it, but I swear work drained my energy; like, I went out just one day because a friend had her birthday coming, and just with that, I started with less energy the following day. I don't know if I'll be able to watch Kimetsu no Yaiba in the cinema anymore; so far, it seems only streaming will save me.
Tell me if you read the manga. I remember the final arcs more than anything.
Thanks a lot :) Like, for real, things were terrible and stressful. But now they have improved a bit.
How have you been?
I personally would have preferred it if Zeref had more moments with Natsu; it was clear he cared for him, maybe some more interactions either in the past or present.
It's nice to meet another fan of Avatar; the fandom is still alive even after all these years, hahaha. Zuko had one of the best-ever redemption arcs in history. Like, the world and his nation broke him, yet he still found a way and got way better. I liked it a lot when he joined the Gaang. Are you interested in the new Avatar series?
Team B had some of the strongest guild members; I am so angry Jellal couldn't win his match, but at least Mirajane and Cana won some well-deserved points.
The Chariot was so good; like, we had the three Dragon Slayers, who were the strongest in that race, at the bottom. They were battling each other, trying not to vomit, then Natsu's speech to the guild, and then he and Gajeel scoring points, hahaha.
You know, I always felt that when both teams were forced to merge, if Jellal wasn't available, then the last spot should have gone to Mirajane instead of Gray. I understand Natsu, Erza, Gajeel, and Laxus, and Juvia as reserve, and in terms of plot, because of Rufus, I understand why Gray was chosen, but I still feel Mirajane should have been there.
If you ever watch Naruto, keep in mind the studio ruined Sakura, one of the main characters; to this day, she is one of the most hated characters ever. I also disliked her for a while until I learned she was different in the manga, by a lot.
Hahaha, indeed, there are songs that are already the mark of their anime. Whereas an OST, an opening, or an ending song, every anime has a song that's its like a trademark.
I feel that with Shingeki no Kyoujin has to be the second opening song; like, I came to know about Shinzou wo Sasageyo even before watching the anime hahaha.
Exactly! Midoriya barely received any recognition or praise in the story. Reaching the climax, he was loathed by the whole city, and as you say, he defeated Shigaraki. Yet, there wasn't even a statue for him? A diploma? Just something? For him to become a teacher makes sense, but I swear, I hate that he lost all his powers.
Most authors seem to be scared of killing their characters; killing off Bakugou would have been a very bold and commendable decision, considering he was the most popular character in the series. A coma would have been more believable than him surviving so easily to defeat the enemy that generations of One For All users couldn't.
That does sound like quite an interesting game, to be honest, and it is actually calling my attention way more than before. Someone told me it was almost a card-collecting game, but it sounds a lot like Zelda; I didn't know you could fight bosses. I am going to see if I can download it.
I hate it as well, but I just knew it; I told a lot of friends I had the feeling the final arc was going to be adapted into movies, I didn't want to believe it, but I just knew it. I don't like going to the cinema that much, but I think I will go to watch this one. I read on Facebook, though I hope it isn't true, that the final movie is coming after 2030.
Now that I think about it, Jellal was kind of like Zuko from Avatar; they were once innocent children looking for the better, then their lives got ruined, their mindsets changed for the worse, and in the end, they reformed and helped the hero group. In other words, Jella did have a great development. I came to like Zeref more after learning he was Natsu's brother, and his background was really sad. I hope they have more moments together in the future. In retrospect, it makes so much sense why Zeref started to cry in Tenrou Island when he saw Natsu; great foreshadowing.
Fairy Tail Team B was such a funny announcement, especially considering how they ranked way higher than Team A. I loved the chariot race; it was really funny to see Natsu, Gajeel, and Sting fighting to reach the finish line. Also, Rufus Memory Maker's attack was impressive.
In my case, I enjoyed the Chuunin Exam arc as it was a turning point for Naruto as a series, as it introduced two of the biggest villains in the series, as well as several important characters. Also, the Iruma-kun tournament arc was pretty interesting, as physical battles were forbidden and the students needed to gather points in different ways.
I recognized it the second it sounded; it's like Fairy Tail's trademark song. I didn't expect it to have more than 18M views, and it's nice that people commented with their favorite quotes.
I agree with you on that one, I also tend to like the endings that people hate hahaha; like, I didn't have any issue with the ending of Naruto (manga), and Attack on Titan. Still, I didn't like the ending of Boku no Hero Academia; I feel that being a teacher fits Izuku a lot, but I feel so angry that, until the end, he didn't receive any recognition. Like, he defeated a deranged and mentally unstable villain who was close to erasing the whole world, yet the hero who defeated him didn't receive a single statue? Also, saving Bakugou felt too much like plot armor.
Indeed, I was told Genshin Impact for the Switch was announced a long time ago, yet it never happened. What is the way to play it, by the way? Like, do you need to collect something? Is there a story mode? Do you need to collect something?
Oh, believe me, Sunrise on the Reaping, Haymitch's book, was so depressing; the second book, Catching Fire, explained things a little bit, but SotR changed a lot of what the reader knew. I honestly feel the books and the movie should be considered different entries, but I enjoyed the movies a lot.
I think I will go to the Cinema to watch the Kimetsu no Yaiba movie; I am still deciding, though. I cannot believe the final movie will arrive after 2030.
Exactly! It may not be perfect and there may be too much ecchi in it, but Fairy Tail works great with the many characters introduced trhoughout the story, not only the main group; Loke, Laxus, Kana, Juvia, Gajeel, Mirajane, Sting, and Rogue, among others may not be the main characters, yet they are explored, unique, and have development. There is a lot to focus on in the series.
The Grand Magic Games arc was indeed enjoyable, especially given the variety of games; Erza's decision to fight against all the monsters was epic. Which other tournament arc do you like?
Which OST are you talking about? I watched Fairy Tail a long time ago, so I don't remember much aside from the opening and ending songs.
I haven't read the manga yet, as I haven't found it anywhere, but I read on a post that the teacher's background was dark; he had an older brother who was a really horrible person. I think he also had a special power. Nevertheless, I agree with you, the anime was solid, engaging, and enjoyable; the ending song will forever be one of my favorites.
I need to watch the small arc before season 3 airs. I was told a lot happened there. I wonder how long Link Click will last; it seems every season becomes a hit.
Exactly, and a lot of people want to ignore that little fact that if Mirio got the AFO, his life would have been shortened. Midoriya started from literally zero and fought his way to the top; he found new ways to use his powers and awakened all his previous abilities. I am honestly not a fan of him losing it, and I really pictured it at some point; I feel Horikoshi has a lot of talent for art, but the story of Boku no Hero could have been a bit better, especially the part of the discrimination against people with Quirks that altered their bodies.
I also used to play video games on my PC I remember downloading the emulator for GBA games hahaha. It's hard to replace those PC, I have one that is about to die, it´s close to getting its screen completely black, but sentimental value is hard to overcome. Those glitches on the screen are so annoying, especially when the screen turns black like blinking.
I know Genshin requires quite a lot of space, so I first need to clean my cellphone. I enjoy Zelda quite a lot, so I am sure I am going to like it. I am sure I was told Genshin was arriving on the Switch.
Yes, it is the second prequel of The Hunger Games; it revolves around Haymitch and his games, the 50th Hunger Games. It was a devastating book; you know exactly how the story is going to end, yet for a moment, you wish for things to change. I am not a fan of going to the Cinema, but I am going for this one adaptation.
As I said, as a kid, I didn't differentiate anything; if I liked it, I watched it hahaha. Digimon and Pokémon were my childhood, and I think a lot of people can relate to not knowing what anime was.
And I mean it, your profile is very unique. That Natsu gif is fire, literally. I completely agree with you, I have said for a long time that I consider Fairy Tail one of the few anime/manga that didn't have a single bad or boring arc. My personal favorites are Oración 6 and Edolas, and my favorite villain group is a tie between Oración 6 and the Spriggan 12. I honestly feel people hate it just because it's popular to hate it. Fairy Tail, as you say, has a bit of everything for everyone, including a splendid soundtrack. Op 5, Op 7, Op 10, and Op 14 are my favorites.
I want to read the manga of Erased since I heard the teacher's background was explained a bit more, but all in all, the anime was amazing; the ending song will forever be one of my favorites.
Exactly! Keeping just a top 10 is impossible; I had to remove quite a lot of anime, manga, and favorite characters.
The first season of Link Click is a masterpiece; I swear that opening song is catchy, and you just want to try to do the hand dance. I still need to watch the mini-season before season 3 airs.
Same here, I also feel Deku's story was one of the strongest. A lot of people say that Mirio was a better choice, but for me, Deku had it the roughest; in a society where everyone had power, he didn't. He was overlooked and even judged by people whose singularities included long noses, long fingers, or stretched eyes. He worked his way from the bottom, fought until the end, and didn't care about recognition.
I know all those games, but I haven't played them myself; I know the first two are on PlayStation, and the final one is a mobile game. Assassin's Creed calls my attention, but I don't have a PS.
I am personally a fan of Nintendo; I know at times their games leave a lot to be desired, and they are incredibly behind PlayStation, but I grew up with Pokémon games, and I absolutely love the franchise. I am currently playing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I became a bit of a Zelda fan as well, though at times I need the help of YouTube hahaha.
I never heard of Zodiac Academy before, and it does sound quite interesting. I am going to check if I find a copy to buy. I Googled the name, and I love the covers.
I finished some months ago Sunrise on the Reaping, and after finishing it, I haven't been able to read the other ones I have in line hahaha.
How are you doing?
Your second paragraph described my first approach to anime; I didn't know what anime was as a kid, and though Digimon and Pokémon were the same as SpongeBob, hahaha.
It's nice to meet another Fairy Tail fan. Your Jellal pfp is very nice. It has one of the best soundtracks ever, and it doesn't have a single bad arc.
You have a nice favorite anime section, with many great ones there; the first season of Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen were amazing. Psycho-Pass is a masterpiece. If I had more space, I would definitely have it on my favorite as well.
Nice to see Deku in your favorite characters. He is a good main character; people hate on him way too much.
By the way, which games do you like? And also, what books have you read lately?
Hope you have the best celebration :)
Have a nice day/evening :)
