I didn't know anyone who read the LN and the anime had more or less equally good and bad parts for me and I wondered how much the adaption is at fault for that.
I was comparing it to Mikadono Sisters a lot which aired parallel to it. And I hate to admit it but the latter as the better writing overall.

The LN going in a poly direction is actually more interesting since I don't like harem stories very much. I think I'll give it a shot then. Though the fact that there are already so many volumes published in the 5 years the novel ran makes me a bit worried.

I saw you're enjoying this season's WataTabe too. I think that's my favourite so far but that doesn't say that much since I didn't start about half of the shows I'm interested in this season yet. And the only one I'm up to date with is that damn furry romance xD

I'm interested in your opinion, how does the anime adaption of Watanare from last season holds up to the LN? While the Yuri part is really nice the writing took some very contrived ways to turn this into a harem. The ending is great however since best girl won BUT WHEN DO I GET TO SEE RENAKO AND AJISAI KISS??? ;_;
