Kei, kei, kei, how doth one see you
differently than you mean to be? Ohh,
an even further interesting question:
how do you even wish to be seen?
I do not have any preferences on how
I wish to be seen... c.c I just want to
be silly me, and if people think I'm
intimidating then, well, they'll learn to
think otherwise one day, right?
Truth to be told, kei, you're absolutely
one among the millions on this earth
who found me intimidating!!! It is, after
all, not a you problem, but a me problem. :p
The okei didn't go okei, kei, it went
quickly unokei, sadly!!! But at least,
I can say, I did try...!
Lurking doesn't make one less of a stranger,
especially one as strange as me!!!
My way of presenting myself leads many
to believe that I hate them or something...
I'm not too sure, but plenty have told me
that they were quite scared of me before
I came close to them and said hi.
I'm the evilest because I scare people
away!! not because I want to do evil...
But after scaring so many people away,
shouldn't I just don the cape anyway?
...Either way, I know somebody who
might be more than just in need of an
okay, they've not been okay for a while,
mind if I give one of yours to them?
An honor? Me? Aren't I
the most total of strangers?
I'm the evilest user, the
one everyone is afraid of;
When I walk, thunder cracks
from atop the clouds with
every single step I take!!
Also nooo, please, I'm not
doing okay!! You're doing
okay, I can't steal okay from
you like that... it'd be very
uncouth by this very me.
My favorite song has to be 'Tutu Ballerina.' I think my second favorite is probably 'Otona Mode,' but there are a lot of songs I really like. I will definitely enjoy Stars. I have a playlist I listen to when I go to work and I have heard so many good things. I'm sure you will also enjoy PriPara when you get around to it. The cast is a lot of fun and the music is great. Aesthetically it's an incredible experience as well if that's something you're into cute/pretty things.
Alright, if you have any questions, I’ll do my best to answer them. :3
I’m the same way—I wanted to play it for that reason and had never experienced a game with character customization until recently. I’ve never been into MMOs or MOBAs; they look fun, but I do enjoy playing JRPGs like Final Fantasy from time to time. Open-world games are where I have the most fun, exploring vast worlds or farming materials for my character.
Yeah, her name is Dialyn, and she’s from another gacha game I’m playing called Zenless Zone Zero. She’s a new character they just previewed. If I had to compare it, the gameplay combat is similar to Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves.
you’re so sweet T—T that’s so nice of you to say ;; i always feel like there are a lot of things i want to say, but every time i put them into words, they get misunderstood and come out different from how i actually feel inside... it’s kinda sad, but that’s just how it is sometimes — so hearing you say that actually means a lot ;; i really really hope everything i say actually sounds genuine and not just polite talk (・ัω・ั)
I'm glad that I can make you feel like that. And I understand how you feel — I'm so afraid of saying things that come off in a way that may make people hate me or try to evade me.
Also, seeing you speak so long shows that you really do care about this talk and that you may be genuine. I really appreciate that, so don't care about "yapping" too much. (◠‿◕)
hmm honestly, i think you’re already doing a great job with your themes! subtlety tends to come naturally as you keep refining your world, so try not to stress too much (〃´∀`〃)
We'll see... Thank you.
as for my own writing... maybe i’ll send it via PM too hehe (it might be a bit long though — hope you don’t mind)
I don't mind at all! I'm only hoping it will be interesting. :D
shining star is kind of like a mix between kpop idol and magical girl. i love rewatching it since it’s a collab with sm entertainment (one of the top 4 companies in the kpop industry), and it uses songs from their artists, which i adore :>
selection project is an idol anime too — about aspiring idols from all across japan competing to win a debut contract. and the anime is about the seventh season, where nine girls manage to win their regional auditions to compete on the main show. d4dj is a music anime... about djs... hmm yeah :D i tend to rewatch idol or music anime when i need a mood boost lol
Oh, it doesn't sound like my type, but I hope you enjoy them! Well, to be fair I've never watched idol anime, so I struggle to understand how the story would flow to keep one interested.
yesss i looooove pokémon! though to be honest, i’m not really into the story itself — i just love how freaking cute the pokémon are haha.
That's neat. For me, the Pocket Monsters Special/PokeSpe (titled Pokémon Adventures in most international releases) manga was a huge part of my childhood and I grew very attached to its characters. Though I also watched the first seasons of the anime and my favourite Pokémon game is HeartGold, with which I have a lot of great magical memories.
I can recognise the Jigglypuff sillhouette! Good job for your first amigurumi!!
That octopus and duck look really cute, and the flowers too! I love them!! Keep it up! You can show me more of your stuff whenever you want <3
Also, fun fact, speaking of Pokémon: The 12th of October, the new Pokémon game (Pokémon Legends: Z-A) leaked a few days away from official release (16th). I immediately downloaded it after a friend passed it to me, and I got a couple of hours to play it the days after. TBH I would've bought it like a good citizen if the DLC, announced before the game even came out, wasn't so expensive, and I was doubtful of how much hours of playtime the game would actually give me for $60.
First off, something incredibly cool is that the rival doesn't just have the weaker or stronger starter, but they have both starters while you still only have one Pokémon to fight with.
The battle system is interesting and fun. I don't think I have much to say as I still don't dominate it, and I may have a "skill issue" as I struggle to adapt to the real time action combat. But I like that the environment is actually implemented into battle, as you can take cover from certain attacks, and closed hallways make it harder to dodge.
We finally get Pokémon that walk along with the player like they did in HeartGold, but the downside in Z-A now is that you can't have your full party out like in Legends Arceus, where you could get them all out and see them interact, but they couldn't follow you. We can't have nice things, it seems.
The animations for taking your Pokémon out and into its ball while exploring are nice.
Interiors look amazing, the city is meh.
It definitely has the opposite feeling of Legends Arceus, where I could freely explore nature and its dangers. Here it's all street and, instead of relaxing in nature with my Pokémon or surviving its dangers, I'm walking down futuristic streets (too futuristic for my taste...), looking at stores (my obsession in the game right now is finding all fashion salons so I see what I would like most to wear), talking with NPCs, and getting lost because all streets look the same and I feel like this must be bad game design (too accurate to my real experience when I have to go to the big city. What is also too realistic is the economy because everything is so expensive, but I'll still carelessly throw all that money away into fashion and making my character look as similar to me IRL as possible).
Also, it took 5 hours for Emma (my hero now) to free me from my rival, who wouldn't let me explore by myself.
Something I really like is that some NPCs present a more nuanced perspective of things, it isn't all "oh heheh it's so good that we're implementing artificial biomes with dangerous Pokémon into the city and you can't visit the park without getting burned alive anymore!! We're all friends in the Pokémon world!!". I also noticed the NPCs questioning the idea of replacing human labour with Pokémon labour, which was something that I always questioned myself for years as I saw that humans were weaklings that had their Pokémon do everything for them!
I really would like to be asked at the start of Pokémon games something like "Have you trained Pokémon before?", because it's starting to feel a bit awkward to get everything explained to me while the characters explicitely refer to me as a new, novice trainer and I'm like "they don't know who I am", plus the main cast here look like they range between late teens and young adults, even being shown interacting with a 21 year old as if they were the same age (but also still being treated as kids by other adults, which is confusing), and the protag was apparently old enough to do tourism without any family or Pokémon, so it's a bit shocking to believe that the protag never had a Pokémon before (though it also reminds me of the early PokeSpe manga, where being a Pokémon trainer was reason for surprise because Pokémon weren't the centre of the world back in the days of Generation 1 lore and it had a lot in common with our own real world. In fact, the world of Z-A is strongly reminding me a bit of Gen 1, as it reveals that there are a lot of people used to living without Pokémon, and, in Gen 1, Pokémon also used to be something fairly new and unfamiliar, with some people even using actual animal tamer gear).
Despite its flaws, I've been having a blast playing it at the same time as some friends, discovering things by ourselves with no wikis, no looking at social media, and the only discussion being among friends. It's like the days of no Internet.
Oh yeah I entered the cemetery and it had the generic wild area music instead of a spooky one. That's so garbage, especially for Pokémon.

Yeah I don't add anime I've dropped not worth the effort lol 🤣
Oh I see glad you're recovered now :)
