Nice, I hope you enjoy Clannad! I really should re-watch To Your Eternity since S3 is airing now, that first episode is still very memorable to me even though it's been over four years. And don't worry about slow replies, life is busy.

im actually watching a lot simultaneously, i just finished evangelion, and im continuing with revolutuonary girl utena.

Im also watching new game, and 1 called 1 week friends, which im almost finishing, and afterwards i think i will watch k-on. I have wanted to watch more kyoto animation titles for a while :)

You don't need to feel pressured about Yona though, maybe it's not something for you. But it would be cool to give it a second chance once you got some time on your hands :3
I'm talking big about it now but I only learned this by watching some videos from the youtube channeö Colleen's Manga Recs. The channel mostly revolves around shoujosei manga and anime. I like watching it because it gives me a different perspective sometimes and there's simply not that much content about these demographics anyway.

For example I know through her that the american branch of Tokyopop sucks really bad due to bad buissness decisions and they barely publish any manga from japan if any at all. This was news to me since there's also a german branch which has been operating normally publishing multiple series. They published Bakuman and Otoyomegatari for example.

Yeah that track is top tier with the string instruments sounding both relaxing and also kinda spooky and sad
I really like these tracks too (it's so hard to narrow it down to just a few and not just post the whole OST lol)

Do you got any favorites among the openings and endings? It's difficult to rank them since they're all so good but for me it's 1>4>3>2 for OP and 2>1>3>4 for ED

Sawako is indeed a great character! I've only seen the first season of Kimi ni Todoke so far but I enjoyed it a lot. My favorite character voiced by Mamiko Noto that isn't Enma Ai is Asagami Fujino from the Kara no Kyoukai movies. The Fate series got some good characters voiced by her as well

In that case I'll definitely check out Otoyomegatari earlier rather than waiting for it to finish. It seems to have such an interesting unique setting, and like you mentioned the art looks to be really good from pictures I've seen people post

Have you seen the anime of kimi ni todoke? or are you just reading it? I watched it and i really liked chizuru and ryuu storyline, however i dont know if a s4 is likely to happen...

Yep, i would say im pretty open to all genres but i do gravitate a lot to romance animes, i dont know how to say it but they just feel good.

I completely agree about the music in Jigoku Shoujo! I absolutely love every track, it's so perfect for setting the tone and atmosphere. I can't think of a single OP, ED, or score from the OST that I dislike. Indeed Mamiko Noto is a fantastic VA and I can't imagine Enma Ai being voiced by anyone else. The characters she voice usually end up being my favorite ones in each show :D

I saw you got Otoyomegatari in your favorites too. It has been on my "plan to read" list for a while now. Would you say that it's worth reading as it is, or would you say it's better to wait for it to finish publishing?

You should! I watched Clannad around 4-5 years ago now and After Story is the most I've ever cried at an anime by a long shot. Especially because I'd only ever seen "male" anime (e.g. action shonen and isekai) up to that point, so I never realised how emotionally impactful the medium could be. Once in a while, I re-watch this scene and it makes me bawl every time, even just hearing the OST does at this point. I also want to re-watch it at some point, but that's something I'd have to prepare for given how heavy it is.
