Muslin and Lace

This lovely gown, reminiscent of the revolutionary period, is made of cotton broadcloth and trimmed in lace and ribbon. The apron, small shawl, and mob cap, and petticoat are made of cotton, unbleached muslin. You can even take your doll to the re-enactments this summer because the outfit does not contain any elastic or velcro. So, while it is historically accurate, it would frustrate young children who are not adept at tying bows. If you intend this outfit for a small one, please let me know and I’ll be glad to replace the ties with velcro or elastic as needed.

Confetti Tunic

This is a really dressy looking tunic top and capri set. The capris are made of a linen look polyester that has terrific body. The multi hued lace edging on the capris matches the colors of the cotton tunic top with tiny dotted satin ribbon trim. I put an elastic waist on the capris and velcro closure on the fully lined top with a sweet bow detail in the back. The hair bow is tacked in place with bead and has velcro in the back. You'll love the sandals and hand bag that compliment the complete look.

Addy wants to do some summer shopping, so she’s dressed in this perfect outfit. Little green dragonflies flit around the linen look lined tank top, and the back velcro closure makes changing clothes a breeze. The capris Addy’s wearing are a single knit with elastic waist – easy on and off for all those try-on times. She completed her smart look with matching sandals, bracelet/ anklet and hair bow.

Nightie Night!

This is a very feminine summer peignoir ensemble. Lace and ribbon bedeck the light weight cotton lavender posie print garments. Sweet little house scuffs and matching hair band complete the set. Both garments have velcro closures, nightgown in the back, the robe at the neck front. Molly loves being a girl when she can look so pretty at bedtime. When a friend of mine saw me working on the nightie, she thought it would make a vey prettry sundress. So... you can use it for either - I won't tell! ;)

It's a 2-fer

I was playing around yesterday, trying out a new tank top idea and wanting to make some clippie bows that would be easier for young children to use. It worked out so neatly, I couldn’t resist sharing and of course, Nellie is always ready to be my try-on girl. This is a reversible tank top, vlecro closure in the back. The slip-on shorts have a nice flat front waist band with elastic in the back and a clean cuff as the hem. The bows are indeed on clippies and very sturdy, which makes them ideal for the youngest set to play with. I really like the canvas mary janes with the rubber toes, just like real girls!

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

I could hardly keep Jessie still to take her pictures! She has her kite and is ready to go in her new skort outfit. This spunky set is made of cotton polyester blend broadcloth and seerscuker. I love the bright colors... and can the shoes match any better? The shorts and skirt are attached at the waist band and have a side velcro closure. The dragonfly embelished top has a full back velcro closure. Her sporty kerchief ties in the back.

Sleep'n Over

If your dolly is invited to spend the night with a friend, she'll want this Blanket and Baby Doll Jammie set. The fabric is a wonderful cotton base with flocked pink polka dots aka, heavy dotted swiss. I put a back velcro closing on the top, and elastic pull up bloomers so that it is easy for your doll to get in and out of her jamms. One of the nicest things about the bunny slippers by Sophia's ® is that they slide on easily, and the soft cuff helps them stay on through the vids and games . Beach Babe

Bathing suits are always fun to make because the dolls always look so cute in them. This beautiful dolly is wearing a 2 piece suit with hooded gauze cover-up, matching foam sandals, beach bag, and 21 x 13" beach mat. I'm told by my field quality control team of Amy & Emily that the foam sandals I've made are washing machine safe. (Hummmm!!!) The top velcros in the back and the bottoms are elasticized in the back and pull on - easy dressing for all ages, even Grammy can do it! The sandals have elastic heel straps so hopefully they will stay on even with lots of cuddling.

Field Trip Time

Loretta is all ready for her class outing! She has on a skort and lined sleeveless top. She also has a neat sling sack to carry her lunch , spending money or ID. She doesn't have to worry about her hair ribbon untying because the bow is tacked in place and the band has a velcro closure.
