Sharing my potted herbs for spring!
I’ve always wanted a garden, but also don’t know anything about gardening. I need someone to mentor me on how to start one. 😉 Gardening looks like a lot of work…this mama will have to do a lot of research. Someday, I’ll have a beautiful garden like Joanna Gaines, but I need to start off small! I decided to focus on potted herbs.
First, I needed planters, and I always go back to the Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart photo shoot at our house last year. It really opened up my eyes on all the beautiful planters they offer! Below are some images of the final images from the photo shoot.
Below are all the supplies I needed for my potted herbs!

As I was looking for smaller planters, these 6 inch brown white washed planters immediately caught my eye! I like neutrals, so I also went with the brown weave pattern and white round planters. Both of these come in multiple sizes!
For herbs, I went with cilantro, mint, rosemary, lavender, and parsley. I plan on getting more herbs especially basil and oregano!
Remember when I said I don’t know anything about gardening? Well, I legit felt like a professional when I was all done. 😉 I’m crossing my fingers I don’t kill these!
After seeing these brown white washed planters against our white house, I knew I wanted to get more of these! Aren’t they so pretty?!
I got a new watering can from Walmart too! From doing some research, I need to make sure these get 2 inches of water a week and to harvest them frequently. Wish me luck!
