This lab is typically used as a preview to the biome/ecosystems unit or as a unit reinforcement. Students observe the animals provided in a sample size of animal crackers. They determine different adaptations of each animal that allow it to survive in the biome they assign the animal. Data collection and graphing are also required.

Rock Cycle Review Board Game Journey of a Rock Sedimentary, Igneous, Metamorphic
This simple rock cycle science board game is the perfect way to review and reinforce how different types of rocks form including sedimentary (compaction and cementation), igneous (melting and cooling), and metamorphic (heat and pressure). Every time a player moves to one of the 3 rocks, they collect an actual rock or small pebble. The first player to collect 10 rocks wins! Ocean Floor Cut and Paste
This is a cut and paste parts of the ocean floor worksheet. Ideally, it is to be used to reiterate the parts of the ocean floor that have been taught (either as a classwork review or hw assignment). It labels the parts such as: abyssal plain, continental slope, continental shelf, trenches, mid-ocean ridge and seamount island.
