Blending & Layering using wide brushes and a wedge
Using a large flat brush on canvas can feel fun and help you create beautiful color blends with acrylic paints. And a painting wedge can add lots of interesting layering and effects, especially when combined with the use of acrylic mediums. In this short clip compiled from some lessons from the "Vibrant Layers with Acrylics & Mediums" online course (by Deniz Altug) we're using: • Liquitex Flat Brushes (we use the 4, 3, and 2 inch sizes for our paintings in the course). • Painting wedge (Catalyst wedge) • Paint materials here are Golden fluid acrylics and an acrylic medium (Golden glazing liquid).
