My son's 4th grade class made this quilt for their teacher's end of year gift.  It's made up of 28 squares - they traced their hands and decorated them with textile markers and in between I sewed strip quilted pieces for a fun bright thank you for a wonderful teacher. I'm very excited about today's finish. I've been working with the children in Ella's class to create a class quilt. They are all about 5 or 6 years old and are in their first year of school.
