How can I make the texture of the camera look more realistic?

We were asked to make camera cupcake toppers, but couldn't find a tutorial, so wrote our own! Hope you like it! We finished them off with lustre for a touch of glamour!

If I was to do a camera like this I would take their idea, or cut a whole where the screen is supposed to be, so that when you move the screen moves as well. Just like a real one.
