UNDER THE RADAR I loved the reveal of this color. It really puts them in the water, suspended. I printed this on Thursday and plan to finish it with the final color tomorrow. When I started I thought it would be 6 colors but have since determined 5 will do. NAUGHTY, TABOO... Today I printed Color 4 on NTJPW. As easy as UTR was Thursday, this one was difficult. Sunkissed! 💜🩷❤️🧡💛 This is my color reduction woodcut print for ART341C with @busybeeprintcompany !! I was only required to do 3 layers but since I'm insane and can never do just the bare minimum, I did five 😎 If I had to guess, I'd say I probably put upwards of 35 hours into this. I'll post my green version at some point later this week! 🫶 - #printmaking #reliefprint #reliefprintmaking

Reduction Print of Brown Trout by Stuart Brocklehurst

Llansteffan Castle from Ferryside. 13 colour reduction Linocut. 240mm x 360mm. Edition of 6. Printed the final two colours, a dark grey green and then a final dark on the old groyne in the foreground. I am pleased with this, its turned out to be quite close to my original design, which doesn't happen often with my prints. There is usually quite a lot of ad-libbing goes on before I get to printing the final colours.
