Cone 5 glaze combinations

From Victoria Ward Pottery: These are some more of my favourite Amaco glaze combinations. White Earthstone stoneware clay ES5. The base glazes are all x 3 all over, the mid glaze is x 2 on top of this covering the top two thirds of the vessel. I usually choose a runny glaze for the top and apply it just around the rim to encourage the dripping effect. Bottom right is only two glazes but Ancient Jasper is extremely runny! I fire to 1200c in an electric kiln with a 20 min hold (cone5/6)

3x honey flux (thick) Random swooshes and splotches of the following 2ish times Blue rutile Textured Turquoise Chun Plum Smokey Merlot Iron Lustre B-mix cone 5 15 min hold from: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10222877726825817&set=pcb.5530069827068524

2 x Ancient Jasper over 3 x Smokey Merlot on the outside with heavy dabs of oatmeal on two if the AJ Cone 5

Glazes did not run much--pretty much applied where it is seen at finish. Fired to 1225°C with 15 min hold. Clay body is Goerg & Schneider 371. *Picture and details from Jakub Rafajdus on Facebook group "AMACO Cone 5/6".
