Grand 19th century country English provincial chest of drawers or commode crafted from thick pine boards. The pine has a desirable aged and distressed patina with prior insect damage and wear on the finish. The chest is fronted by three large storage drawers with round wood pulls. The front corners have column style supports with carved details. Very heavy and solid with the sides of the case constructed from one inch thick boards. This 2 over 2 solid pine chest of drawers has been given a fresh new look,painted in a customised fusion mineral paint mix. The top has been sanded back to the grain and has been given a few coats of osmo oil to nourish and protect the wood.For this piece we got rid of the old orginal pine handles and replace them with these new chrome cuphandles.Dimensions H 74.5 W 91.4 cmD44.4 cm
