TV Guides are yet another thing I collect. Not all of the issues, but certain ones that are special to me, such as those that featured Saturday morning cartoons such as this one from 1973. My mom always subscribed to TV Guide and I knew exactly what day it would arrive in the mail and would wait for it to arrive so I could pour over it and plan my TV viewing habits for the next week. Surprisingly, I did not end up a TV junkie!

Hong Kong Phooey cruising around with his cat Spot in the Phooeymobile, modeled after a Chinese rickshaw. He was voiced by the great Scatman Crothers (1910-1986). The Hanna Barbera cartoon aired on ABC on Saturday mornings for just one season with 16 episodes from September to December 1974.
