When I was designing our open plan kitchen/living space I wanted to make sure that even though it is a big room, I could still create a sense of cosiness through the lighting scheme . Which is why every single light (even the spotlights) is on a dimmer switch. My electrician was definitely more of a big light on guy so this request was met with the kind of puzzled look I reserved for people who tell me the Bounty is their favourite chocolate in a box of Celebrations 🤢 .
