Altenew embossing folders

For today's card I used the Ambridge Bouquet 3D embossing folder by Altenew. What a gorgeous image this creates! I wanted to highlight all the crevices, so I took Tea Dye Distress Ink and rubbed it over the top of the embossing folder. Altenew prints the name of the folder on the front of the folder, which is so helpful. This is the side I inked, the raised areas of the flowers. So when I ran it throught my Big Shot, the ink is pressed into the paper. Tea Dye is a light pinkish brown color…

Today I'm sharing Altenew's Farmhouse Florals Embossing Folder. I used my favorite technique, Solar and/or Lunar Pastes with Archival ink with this gorgeous folder. I've shared other cards where I randomly place Solar/Lunar Pastes on a panel and then emboss it with a 3D embossing folder. Here I wanted specific colors, in specific places, pink on the flowers and green on the background. So I ran through a piece of black cardstock 5.5"x5.5" square. The Altenew Beautiful Bergenia 3D embossing folder with white pigment ink, 2 ways. The one on the left is purple cardstock embossed in my Big Shot, then I took a white pigment ink pad and rubbed it over the raised areas.
