Ceramic dipping plate

Pretty pleased with this custom dinner set. Dinner plates, side plates, big bowls and mugs in a speckled clay finished with a milky white glaze. The glaze gets lighter where it’s applied thicker. I used this as a feature by double dipping the plates and bowls and creating lots of drips. This couple got my cups as a Christmas gift from their niece last year and wanted a matching dinner set 🥰

I've seen many one piece chip and dip bowls online that look like you slice the clay after the bowl is formed to then make the dip part. It's been referred to as a swirl chip and dip. Does anyone know how to make this... or has seen a tutorial online?? Thanks!! Margie
