I’ve been using the Contax G2 with the 45mm Planar lens for about 5 years now. It was the second proper film camera I had ever purchased, and upon shooting for the first time, I was in love. No other camera in any format has been as perfect for me as the G2. So, the first week with the Contax G2 has past. I have yet not developed any of the finished rolls, but I have already made some mistakes that was recognizable even if I haven’t seen the results yet…

The Contax G1 is the best point & shoot camera! Okay, so technically it’s not a point & shoot per se, it’s more like a rangefinder camera. Though, even then it’s not your typical rangefinder camera like the Leica M6. The Contax G1 doesn’t use the typical manual focusing system that most rangefinder cameras do, it uses a completely automatic focusing system.

Leica vs Contax? Let me confess that I do have a Contax G camera, however, I have owned both the cameras, and I've never been a fetish camera owner.
