Today I show you how to create a pretty flower arrangement with the help of a flower frog, also called pin frog or Kenzan. The pastel-colored hyacinths in light purple and the tulips in light pink are combined with various branches. Stones are places around the flower frog in the water. I use the flower frog as a plugging aid, the plant stems are simply put on the spikes made of small nails. For a long time, the flower frog has been used in the Japanese art of flower arranging (Ikebana).

You will need:

* air dry clay 
* rolling pin
* Skewers for even rolling
* And embossed rolling pin for a pattern 
* A straw to cut holes for the flower stems 
* A cookie cutter for the desired size of the flower frog 
* Sealant for the clay (I use dishwasher safe mod podge)

Here’s how to do it:

1. Roll the clay flat
2. Use an imprinted roller, if desired
3. Cut the clay with the cookie cutter and leave in place
4. Cut the holes with the straw
5. Remove the excess clay, and then the cut cutter
6. Allow clay to fully dry I placed mine on top of a glass bowl for a concave shape
7. You can use a dehydrator to speed up the drying process
8. Seal the clay with your @
