Halloween Costume 2012: Fifty Shades of Grey (grayscale costume). For the body paint we mixed black and white Halloween makeup, and wore black lipstick. The key was to get as many different shades of grey as possible in your clothing, and to cover as much skin as possible to minimize how much makeup was needed. The eyes and mouth were the hardest parts to cover up, and the smallest hint of color ruins the illusion. But it works great from far away!
