The Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah in Agra, often overshadowed by the Taj Mahal, is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture and a must-see attraction. Commissioned by Nur Jahan in honour of her beloved father, the tomb is renowned for its innovative use of white marble, intricate ornamentation, and fusion of Islamic and Hindu artistic influences. Constructed before the Taj Mahal, it introduced new architectural elements and decorative techniques, setting the stage for Shah Jahan's later masterpieces.
