ALSO, you guys left a ton of questions/comments on my last penny floor post (mostly sweet, but some extremely rude💁🏻‍♀️) but figured I’d answer some of those here: •we definitely plan on grouting and then covering with a couple of layers of clear epoxy - so the pennies won’t oxidize, it will be easy to clean, and won’t exude a copper scent. •the template I am using was not designed for this but works well for it. I’ll try and find where I got it and link it for you guys soon. •the black pennies: I didn’t paint them, but I did treat them using Liver of Sulfur which smells awful.
