Peter Sallis, the British television actor who provided the voice of the cheese-obsessed Wallace in the Oscar-winning "Wallace and Gromit" clay animation comedy films, died Friday, June 2, 2017, in London. He was 96. Sallis also played mild-mannered Norman "Cleggy" Clegg on the British sitcom "Last of the Summer Wine" from 1973 until 2010. He was the only actor on the series to appear in all 295 episodes.
